TIME BALL
Built in the 1840's by convict labour, this blue stone tower originally
operated as a lighthouse and still operates as a timeball. Restored as
an Australian Bicentennial project, the tower today is operated by a computer,
which drops each day at 1pm. The tower is part of the Point Gellibrand
Coastal Heritage Park, which is currently being developed by Parks Victoria.
